Hotel Termag and Ethno Village Azbuka – Great for Leisure, Even Better for Business

With corporate tourism on the rise, TU Events organized a spring FAM Trip for leading regional companies. The late-April visit to Mount Jahorina and Hotel Termag highlighted the destination’s appeal and rich activities during the warmer months for corporate travelers and partners.

Termag Hotel Jahorina: A 4-Star Mountain Oasis

Termag Hotel Jahorina is a modern 4-star property offering a rich variety of amenities year-round. Located in the heart of the Jahorina ski center at 1,550 meters above sea level, it sits right next to the ski slope and cable car. Its warm interior design, crafted entirely from solid wood, blends perfectly with the mountain ambiance while ensuring maximum comfort for its guests.

Upon check-in, we immediately experienced the hotel's greatest asset: the exceptionally polite and welcoming staff. Following a brief introduction and a rich, diverse lunch—something the hotel is well-known for—the representatives held a presentation. They showcased the very best of what the hotel offers to corporate clients for MICE events and employee benefit programs.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing, exploring the hotel’s facilities, such as the spa center, and walking around the area. We had a standard board dinner to experience the hotel's regular daily operations, after which we enjoyed bowling, table tennis, and billiards.

Adrenaline, Team Building, and Fine Dining

After breakfast on the second day, we embarked on a true adventure and adrenaline treat: an ATV (quad) ride across the landscapes of this beautiful mountain. The terrain was gentle yet challenging enough, allowing us all to enjoy the ride and the panoramic views.

Satisfied, we returned to the hotel, dropped off our protective gear, and went hiking along one of the many trails. This provided both an active break and a chance to learn firsthand from our hosts about the history and nature of the area. Halfway through the hike, we enjoyed a nature lunch at a scenic viewpoint to regain our strength. During the walk, the host introduced the corporate representatives to all the activities available for group team-building and other corporate events.

The afternoon was reserved for relaxation in the spa center, swimming, and massages. For dinner, our hosts prepared a spectacular fine-dining experience: a five-course "Chef Menu" at the Termag restaurant. The menu was imaginatively designed, incredibly delicious, and beautifully plated, paired with wines that further elevated the flavors. The hotel proved that beyond its rich standard board meals, it can deliver an unforgettable haute cuisine experience.

Ethno Village Azbuka: A Return to Nature

On the third day, we headed back toward Serbia and took a lunch break in Tršić at Ethno Village Azbuka. This complex is designed to reconnect its guests—whether families or corporate clients—with nature in a "true ethno" way. Here, "ethno" isn't just a cliché of checkered tablecloths or wooden stools; it is a genuine traditional ambiance spread across several cascading levels, surrounded by hills, a stream, and a forest in full glory.

Azbuka's strongest asset is how perfectly it blends into its environment. Everything is built from traditional materials. In addition to the guest bungalows, the complex is home to numerous animals that enhance the idyllic rural atmosphere. Goats, sheep, ponies, a fish pond, and peacocks are just some of the animals guests can see and interact with.

At the restaurant located at the top of the complex, our host treated us to a true feast featuring homemade, traditional, and simple dishes—strictly honoring the narrative that Azbuka proudly upholds. Ideal for family vacations, day trips, and corporate meetings or retreats, Azbuka touched each of us, mostly through its sincere dedication to preserving the spirit of a true rural household.
