The Freshness of Kopaonik in the Summer Months with a Premium Hotel Offer
Posted by TU Events on .
These days, but also in the last few years, we have witnessed exceptionally high summer temperatures, which increasingly exceed 35 degrees Celsius and which, justifiably, are changing the habits of the tourism and hospitality world.
Colder destinations are sought after, trips are "moved" to spring and autumn, scorching city centers are given a wide berth, and the traditional "peak season" in August is seeing a decline in the number of people interested in tourist products in the classic sense. Recognizing this shift in the patterns of the tourism and hospitality world on time, TU Events team also organized a FAM Trip this spring for representatives of numerous companies that are market leaders in the region, presenting Kopaonik to them—a heavenly place even during the summer months—as an ideal destination where business meetings and events can be organized.
Their exceptional offer, intended for MICE clients, as well as a selection of benefits for employees, were presented on that occasion by the excellent hosts of Hotel Putnik Kopaonik, Gorski Hotel&Spa****, and Skijališta Srbije (Ski Resorts of Serbia). The official vehicle of the trip is from the Nissan Serbia fleet.
On the first day of our trip, the representatives of Hotel Putnik Kopaonik introduced us, above all, to all the facilities and the offer of this hotel for corporate clients and their employees. An excellent and rich lunch followed, and after a casual break we had the opportunity to try our hand at tennis, considering that the hotel organized the Kopaonik Open 2024. The tournament was unforgettable, and the winner received an appropriate trophy as a reminder of the wonderful time spent on, above all, pleasant temperatures and fresh air, as well as on sports activities on Kopaonik. We rounded off the day with dinner and an organized wine tasting and wine masterclass by the Drašković winery, so the evening hours passed in a cheerful mood, where we also learned a lot about wines and tasted them.
The next day, after checking out, we continued our adventure to Gorski Hotel&Spa****, Kopaonik, where we met the hotel representatives over a welcome drink. They also organized a trip for us to Pančićev Vrh by cable car and a return on foot accompanied by a guide, an alpine coaster ride, and a zip-line to show us what they can offer in terms of adrenaline activities. The crown of everything was a quad ride on the mountain along marked trails, which further raised the atmosphere and the spirit of the group, because the trails were quite serious and demanding.
The most pleasant surprise prepared for us by the representatives of this hotel was lunch in nature. In the green embrace of Kopaonik, on a small clearing with a mountain cabin, we found a set and idyllically decorated table, full of various delicacies that the hotel chefs had prepared for us. No one in the group hid their satisfaction; the hotel made the right choice with excellent organization and the location itself.
We spent the afternoon enjoying all the wellness and spa facilities, preparing for a gastronomic spectacle organized for us by the La Pista restaurant, otherwise an award-winning fine dining restaurant and officially the best Italian restaurant in Serbia. Accompanied by pleasant guitar music, our group had an experience menu followed by matching wines. Top masters and the restaurant chef took us on a gastronomic journey through courses of food, where each plate told a different story and where all those stories were again brilliantly connected into a whole, which is exactly what the entire evening was like. Superb food, exceptional wine, and great staff provided an evening to remember.
On the last day, after touring the hotel, where company representatives could see firsthand the fantastic offer and facilities of the hotel, a ride in safari vehicles to Mali Karaman and a panoramic gondola ride to Brzeće were also organized. That was also the last stop on Kopaonik, from where the return to Belgrade was organized.
Finally, we can conclude our story with the observation that the importance of corporate tourism is growing, and that companies are paying more and more attention to the well-being of employees through team buildings and benefits, and that, to that end, we are happy to be able to offer a fantastic selection of autumn FAM trips (Istria, Kvarner, Montenegro, and Vrnjačka Banja) and workshops that we dedicate to these clients as an important market segment in the travel industry.
