Rovinj and Zagreb hosted a FAM Trip bringing together company representatives and corporate clients interested in discovering the hotel, tourism and gastronomy offerings of two Croatian destinations.
The programme was hosted by Maistra Hospitality Group, which presented participants with part of its hotel portfolio in Rovinj. The itinerary included visits to renowned hotels, local culinary experiences, wine tastings and guided city tours.
The trip began with arrival in Rovinj and accommodation at Hotel Lone, known for its striking contemporary design, functionality and modern conference facilities. A welcome lunch was organised for the participants at Restaurant E.
Following a short break, guests visited Hotels Lone and Eden, where they had the opportunity to learn more about their accommodation capacities, business concepts and facilities designed for different guest profiles. The visits allowed company representatives to gain first-hand insight into the hotels' offerings and the opportunities they provide for hosting guests and organising business events. The first day concluded with a dinner hosted by Maistra Hospitality Group at Restaurant ON, featuring the culinary offering of Hotel Lone and providing an opportunity for informal networking.
The second day was dedicated to discovering Rovinj's hotel and tourism offering. Participants visited Hotel Monte Mulini before exploring the city on a guided tour with a local guide. A special highlight of the programme was lunch at Restaurant Kantinon, accompanied by a wine tasting and a presentation of the local wine selection led by a sommelier.
Later in the day, the group visited Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, one of the region's most prestigious hotel properties. This impressive hotel, distinguished by its contemporary architecture, exceptional design and unique location overlooking Rovinj Marina, was also featured on the prestigious The World's 50 Best Hotels 2025 list, as the only hotel from Croatia to make the selection. Participants had the opportunity to learn about its concept, facilities and standards of luxury hospitality. The day ended with dinner at Restaurant Laurel & Berry, offering views of Rovinj and its distinctive historic old town.
After their stay in Rovinj, the group continued to Zagreb, where participants were accommodated at Sheraton Zagreb Hotel. The programme included lunch at Restaurant Tomassino, visits to Sheraton Zagreb and Stellar Boutique Modules, and a guided tour of the Croatian capital. The evening was reserved for a visit to The Westin Zagreb, followed by dinner at Restaurant Kaptol.
The final day of the programme focused on two more Zagreb hotel properties. Participants first visited Zonar Zagreb, where they were introduced to its concept, facilities and approach to meeting the needs of today's travellers. This was followed by a visit to Hotel International, which also hosted a group lunch. The visit rounded off the programme, providing an overview of Zagreb's diverse hotel concepts and accommodation capacities before the group departed for Belgrade.
The FAM Trip gave company representatives and corporate clients an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into hotel standards, different accommodation concepts, gastronomic offerings and the opportunities Rovinj and Zagreb provide for business travel, corporate events and other forms of cooperation.
