Bluesun Hotels showcases MICE potential during FAM Trip across Brač and the Makarska Riviera
Posted by TU Events on .
Representatives of MICE and corporate travel agencies from Serbia explored the facilities of Bluesun Hotels & Resorts during a FAM Trip across Brač and the Makarska Riviera. The program showcased venues and services for conferences, events, incentive travel, and team building activities in some of the Adriatic’s most attractive destinations.
The first stop was Bol on the island of Brač, where participants stayed at Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa. During the site inspection, they were introduced to the hotel’s accommodation capacities, conference facilities, sports infrastructure, and various options for organizing corporate events. Special attention was given to facilities designed for business groups, as well as complementary services that can enhance corporate programs.
In addition to the hotel facilities, participants had the opportunity to discover some of Brač’s key attractions that can be incorporated into incentive and team-building programs. The itinerary included visits to the Stone Masonry School, the Olive Oil Museum, Vidova Gora, and a guided tour of Bol. Bluesun Holiday Village Bonaca and the local tennis center were also presented, further highlighting the destination’s potential for sports-related and corporate events.
A significant part of the study trip focused on the local gastronomy and wine offering through a visit to Stina Winery, where participants learned about Brač’s winemaking tradition and sampled wines suitable for incentive programs and exclusive corporate events. Dinner was organized at Boket78 Restaurant, where participants, together with hotel representatives and members of the local tourism board, had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the island’s tourism and event offerings.
Following Brač, the program continued on the Makarska Riviera with a stay at Bluesun Hotel Soline in Brela. Agency representatives toured the hotel’s business event facilities, including meeting rooms, event spaces, and wellness amenities, which are increasingly becoming an important component of corporate travel. After lunch at Restaurant Sol, participants visited Skywalk Biokovo, one of the region’s most attractive locations for supplementary corporate group activities. Dinner was held at a local restaurant, where guests had the opportunity to taste traditional regional specialties.
An especially interesting aspect of this FAM Trip was its value for representatives of leisure-focused travel agencies. The program provided first-hand insight into facilities and services that extend beyond the traditional MICE segment, clearly demonstrating that Bluesun Hotels offer strong potential for both individual leisure travelers and holidaymakers. This helped present a comprehensive picture of the group’s flexibility and its ability to combine business and leisure travel experiences within the same hotel portfolio.
The final part of the trip included a visit to Bluesun Hotel Maestral, where participants were introduced to opportunities for organizing smaller business meetings, exclusive events, and incentive programs. By touring several hotel properties, attendees gained a detailed overview of the Bluesun Hotels & Resorts portfolio and the significant potential that Brač and the Makarska Riviera offer for the development of MICE tourism.
Study trips such as this play an important role in connecting hotel companies with event organizers and corporate agencies, enabling direct experience of destination capacities and creating new business opportunities within the meetings and events industry.
