Atlantis Does Exist – The Hotel Defining MICE in Rogaška Slatina
Posted by TU Events on .
Slovenia confirms its status as an ideal MICE destination: close, easily accessible, rich in amenities, and offering a seamless blend of business and leisure. Rogaška Slatina stands out as a wellness and wellbeing hub, perfect for combining corporate meetings with spa experiences, where productivity aligns with relaxation and regeneration.
The journey through Slovenia began early in the morning when we headed from Belgrade to Rogaška Slatina. Our first destination was the Atlantida Boutique Hotel, a true gem among MICE hotels, where we were welcomed by the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff, promising an unforgettable experience. After a quick check-in, we set off for the Pomona farm, where we enjoyed a presentation of local products and a delicious lunch, while simultaneously experiencing how tradition meets innovation in every delicacy.
Free time at the hotel provided an ideal opportunity to relax in the spa and wellness center, and dinner with hotel representatives further emphasized the Atlantida Hotel's commitment to excellence and the details that make the MICE experience perfect.
The following day, a visit to the Kristal Rogaška glassworks and the Kristal Tower was a lesson in craftsmanship and design, while lunch at the Jurg restaurant reminded us of the richness of local cuisine. The Anin Dvor museum capped off the day with a cultural touch, and evening activities at the hotel provided moments of complete relaxation.
On the third day, after breakfast and check-out, we headed toward Maribor. Our first stop was the renowned Afrodita cosmetics, followed by a guided exploration of Maribor, getting to know its landmarks and traditions.
A meeting with a Tourist Board representative and lunch at the Ružmarin restaurant opened the doors to local hospitality. A creative pottery workshop and wine tasting from the oldest vine in the world blended culture, tradition, and enjoyment, while the evening check-in at Hotel Habakuk introduced a new level of MICE luxury.
On the final day, a gondola ride to Pohorje and visits to wellness resorts like Pohorje Village Wellbeing Resort and Grand Hotel Bellevue demonstrated just how well Slovenia combines business and recreational experiences.
A leisurely walk through the city rounded off the trip, and we also visited the Vinag wine cellar, an extraordinary venue for hosting events, whether it be business meetings, presentations, team building, or celebrations. Its spacious underground corridors and authentic wine atmosphere create a unique ambiance that leaves a strong impression on guests, while the option of tasting premium wines adds value to any event.
With its capacity for larger groups and the professional support of its staff, the Vinag cellar merges historical charm with modern functionality, making every event an unforgettable experience. Lunch at the Fudo restaurant was the perfect conclusion to this inspiring MICE experience before returning to Belgrade.
Rogaška Slatina and Maribor are proof that Atlantis still exists – a place where business events are transformed into unforgettable experiences, and every detail radiates care, luxury, and local charm.
