Terme Snovik and Atlantida Boutique Hotel – MICE in Slovenia through wellness, gastronomy, golf and destination experiences

The Fam Trip through Slovenia, held from September 22 to 25, brought together representatives of companies from Serbia who had the opportunity to explore a variety of hotel facilities, wellness offerings, gastronomy, and experiences suitable for individual, family, and business travel.

The program included Kamnik, Snovik, Arboretum Volčji Potok, Rogaška Slatina, and Rogatec, combining hotel inspections, outdoor activities, gastronomic experiences, and offerings that can be incorporated into business and corporate programs.

The first stop was Kamnik, where the program began with a tour of the historic town center as part of the Beer Way Experience. Accompanied by a guide, participants explored the town before visiting a microbrewery, where they learned about the beer-making process and the ingredients used in production. The program included a tasting of five types of craft beer and a local snack, connecting the destination's cultural heritage with local gastronomy and craft production.

After Kamnik, the trip continued to NaturHotel Snovik, where participants had the opportunity to learn more about the hotel's offering and the facilities of Terme Snovik. A special part of the stay was dedicated to wellness, with free time to enjoy the spa facilities. The day concluded with dinner with hotel representatives, who presented the opportunities and experiences available to guests.

The following day continued with the Kneipp Barefoot Experience, based on the Kneipp philosophy and its connection with nature. The experience demonstrated how wellness programs can be combined with the natural surroundings to offer guests a different approach to relaxation and leisure.

This was followed by a visit to Arboretum Volčji Potok, one of Slovenia's best-known park and botanical sites. Participants had the opportunity to take a train ride through the arboretum, while the program also included a snack at the café or outdoors, depending on the weather conditions. Such experiences can also be interesting as part of programs for groups looking to complement a business stay with outdoor activities.

The next stop was Golf Resort Arboretum, where the golf course, conference rooms, and other resort facilities were presented. Participants had the opportunity to ride in golf carts, learn the basics of golf, and try their skills, while additional facilities included a golf simulator. The visit demonstrated the potential for combining business activities with sports, entertainment, and time outdoors, making golf an interesting element of incentive and corporate programs.

The trip then continued to Rogaška Slatina, a destination known for its long tradition of health and wellness tourism. Participants stayed at the Atlantida Boutique Hotel, where, after check-in, they had the opportunity to explore the hotel's facilities and services. Free time was dedicated to spa and wellness activities, while the day concluded with dinner.

During the stay in Rogaška Slatina, particular attention was also given to the hotel offering and the opportunities available to guests looking to combine their holiday with wellness, gastronomy, and additional activities. The hotel inspection and discussions with representatives gave participants a direct insight into the offer and the ways in which different experiences can be incorporated into a guest's stay.

The program continued with a visit to Rogatec, including a tour of the Open-Air Museum. The site offers an insight into the traditional way of life and cultural heritage of this part of Slovenia, giving participants an opportunity to discover another segment of the destination's tourism offering. Following the tour, lunch was organized at Jurg, bringing local gastronomy into the program as well.

The afternoon was reserved for returning to the hotel and enjoying free time at the spa and wellness facilities, while dinner with hotel representatives was organized in the evening. In this way, the program combined the professional elements and destination inspections with time dedicated to getting to know the hotel's facilities.

The final day of the trip was dedicated to several more attractions in Rogaška Slatina. Participants visited the Crystal Tower and then the Anin dvor Museum, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the history and traditions of the destination. The program continued with a visit to Pomona Farm, where a presentation and lunch were organized, followed by the departure for Belgrade.

The four-day study trip through Slovenia brought together different segments of the tourism offering – from history, culture, and local gastronomy to outdoor activities, golf, wellness, and hotel facilities. For representatives of companies from Serbia, the program provided an opportunity to explore destinations and facilities first-hand that may be suitable for different types of travel, including business stays, corporate gatherings, incentive programs, as well as individual and family arrangements.
