TU Sun & Sea Workshop: The Formula for a Successful Tourist Season
Posted by TU Events on .
The beginning of February, as in previous years, marked the leading B2B event in Southeast Europe dedicated to the summer tourist season. On February 6, 2025, the TU Sun&Sea Workshop took place at Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade, featuring 40 exhibitors and attracting over 100 travel agencies and companies from Serbia and the surrounding region.
Exhibitors from Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, as well as from beyond the region, including Greece and Austria, presented their offerings to a carefully selected group of tourism buyers. The event featured a large number of pre-scheduled business meetings, during which exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase their services and negotiate future collaborations.
From Serbia, the presentation included hotels from Kopaonik—Gorski Hotel & Spa, Hotel Putnik, Kraljevi Čardaci Spa, and Viceroy Hotel—while spa and wellness tourism was represented by Planinka Hoteli, Fruške Terme Resort & Residences, and Hotel Sunce.
From Slovenia, the event featured LifeClass Hotels & Spa and Tourism Board of Portorož (TZ Portorož), as well as two hotel groups operating in Croatia: Kempinski Hotels Slovenia & Croatia and Remisens Hotel Group.
As previously mentioned, Croatia had numerous participants. The event featured Amadria Park from Opatija, Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa, Le Premier, Boutique Hotel from Zagreb, Hotel Park Split, The Isolano Autograph Collection, Petram Hotel & Residences, and three leading hotel groups have also participated: Lošinj Hotels & Villas, Maistra Hospitality Group, and Zagreb City Hotels. Additionally, the Tourism Board of Kvarner showcased its summer offerings and later held a special presentation for Belgrade-based media and influencers.
As usual, Montenegro brought the largest number of exhibitors. From Podgorica, three city hotels participated: Signum Hotel, Hotel Hilton, and voco Hotel. The Montenegrin coast was represented by Dukley Hotel & Resort, Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos, Avala Resort & Villas from Budva, Siro Boka Place from Tivat and Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, located on the Kotor Riviera, as well as Iberostar Bellevue Hotel, Iberostar Herceg Novi, and Iberostar Slavija Hotel 5*. Additionally, ultra-luxury properties included Lazure Hotel & Marina and One&Only Portonovi from Herceg Novi, as well as the mountain resort Pullman Breza Kolašin.
As in previous years, Greece was also represented. This time, participants included Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Thraki, Domes Resorts, Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, and from Halkidiki, Acrotel Hotels & Resorts. Additionally, the Thessaloniki-based tourism company Gassi Holidays DMC presented its offerings.
As mentioned at the beginning, we also had an exhibitor from Austria: the tourism company Region Villach Tourismus GmbH.
Of course, we would like to extend special thanks to our partners—Tourism Board of Kvarner, Maistra Hospitality Group, Lošinj Hotels & Villas, and Card Print Company—without whom the organization of TU Sun&Sea would not have been possible.
All in all, we can say that this was yet another successful event where we brought together tourism professionals, with a special focus on the participation of numerous corporate clients. The overall impression is that everyone is already looking forward to our next event, the TU Ski&Spa Workshop, scheduled for early October this year.
