TU Ski & Spa Workshop 2024 – Taking Big Steps Forward into the New Season
Posted by TU Events on .
As in previous years, the beginning of autumn was marked by the leading event in Southeast Europe dedicated to the winter tourism industry. On October 3, 2024, the TU Ski & Spa Workshop was held at the Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade, bringing together 48 exhibitors and more than 100 travel agencies and companies from Serbia and the region.
Connecting tourism professionals from the winter tourism sector and presenting new destinations, products, and services was once again the mission we successfully accomplished together. As part of the event, a large number of pre-scheduled business meetings were held, during which exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase their offers and arrange future cooperation.
This year, the largest number of exhibitors came from Slovenia — as many as 26. The following hotels presented their outstanding offer: Sava Hotels & Resorts, Alpinia Hotels Bohinj, Bled Rose Hotel, Bohinj Eco Hotel, City Hotel Ljubljana, Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana, Grand Koper Hotel, Hit Alpinea, and Hotel Špica Laško. They were joined by tourist boards, agencies, and destinations such as Julian Alps, Koroška Tourist Board, Ljubljana Castle, Maribor Tourist Board, MountVacation, Ljubljana Tourism, Šaleška Valley Tourist Board, Bled Castle and Congress Centre, and Slovenian Tourist Board, as well as the outstanding resorts Pohorje Village Wellbeing Resort, RTC Krvavec, and Rogla Ski Resort. As every year, the very popular and numerous Slovenian thermal spas attracted the undivided attention of the event participants: Thermana Laško, Terme Čatež, Terme Dobrna, Terme Olimia, Terme Snovik – Kamnik, Terme Topolšica, Terme Vivat, and Terme Zreče Spa.
From neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina, which continues to make remarkable progress in the field of winter tourism year after year, the following exhibitors presented their offers: Aparthotel Vučko, Hotel Monti Spa & Wellness, Hotel Nomad Bjelašnica, and Olympic Center Bjelašnica and Igman. From Croatia, the TU Ski & Spa Workshop welcomed The Isolano, Hotel Materra, and Terme Sveti Martin, while from Montenegro the participants were joined by Pullman Breza Kolašin, Swissôtel Resort Kolašin, and the airline Air Montenegro.
As in previous years, we also welcomed exhibitors from beyond the borders of the former Yugoslavia. This time, Austria was represented by Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences and Hilton Garden Inn Wiener Neustadt, while Italy was represented by the tourism organization Alpe Cimbra. Our eastern neighbors also took part in the event, with Bulgaria represented by Novotel Sofia, Metropolitan Hotel Sofia, and the web platform TouchMenu. From Serbia, the mountain hotels Grey Hotel and Hotel Zlatibor showcased their offers, while spa tourism was represented by Planinka Hoteli.
Of course, we should also mention our partners — ASSA ABLOY, Air Montenegro, Slovenian Tourist Board, and Card Print — whose outstanding contribution made this event possible. Without their support, the organization of the TU Ski & Spa Workshop would not have been achievable.
In conclusion, TU Ski & Spa Workshop 2024 proved to be a highly successful event, once again contributing to the strong networking of tourism professionals from across the region. It also set the stage for our next gathering, which will be organized as the TU Sun & Sea Workshop and is scheduled to take place on February 6 next year.
