Success in the heart of Belgrade: TU Sun & Sea Workshop and Event Booster open the doors to the 2026 season

Belgrade became the region’s tourism hub in early February, hosting record‑breaking TU Sun & Sea Workshop and TU Event Booster events that proved once again that direct contact and trust remain the core of successful tourism business.
Hoteliers from the most popular summer destinations and representatives of leading travel agencies and the corporate sector gathered on February 5 at the Expo 2027 Playground exhibition area for another edition of the TU Workshop. This year's event was divided into two key parts: a focus on the summer season through the TU Sun & Sea segment and strengthening business ties within the TU Event Booster dedicated to the MICE industry.
More than 650 meetings in one day
The main strength of this year's gathering was efficiency. Through the format of pre-scheduled B2B meetings, more than 650 direct conversations were held. Buyers from Serbia and the region had the opportunity to get acquainted in short but meaningful intervals with the novelties of hotel chains, the conditions for the upcoming summer season, as well as the capacities for organizing large corporate events.
"This is the format that the industry loves. No time wasted, with a clear goal and specific people at the table. Today we have agreed on arrangements here that would otherwise take us weeks of correspondence."
EXPO 2027 Playground: A place where success was celebrated
After an intensive working session, the participants used the innovative EXPO 2027 Playground as a backdrop for the official After Party. In a more relaxed atmosphere, with a top-notch gastronomic offer and a musical program, regional hotel managers, agency representatives, and corporate partners continued the networking that had begun during the day. The After Party was an opportunity to toast new partnerships and summarize impressions of the trends that will mark the tourism year 2026.
Synergy of taste and professional support
In addition to the business part, the atmosphere was complemented by partners who recognized the importance of this gathering. During the breaks between meetings, participants enjoyed top-quality espresso prepared by Barcaffe, providing the necessary energy for an intense working day, while Rauch juices, with their distinctive quality and wide range of flavors, provided the ideal refreshment during an intense working day.
The Kvarner Tourist Board gave a special touch to the event. Under their brand, the Kvarner Wines Association held a striking presentation of the region's indigenous wine varieties, allowing attendees to feel the spirit of the Adriatic in the middle of Belgrade.
The organization and smooth running of the event were greatly facilitated by Cards Print. Their technical support was crucial for the identification and logistics of participants, and the organizers emphasize that without their professionalism, this event would not have been nearly as successful.
A look into the future
TU Events, as the organizer, has once again shown that it understands the needs of the market. TU Sun & Sea Workshop is not just a place to exchange business cards, but a platform that generates real traffic and strengthens the tourism product of the entire region. Judging by the energy from Belgrade and the number of pre-contracts signed, the Summer 2026 season will be one of the most successful so far.
