TU Sun & Sea Workshop – Tourism Restart
Organized by TU Events team, the workshop was held at the Courtyard by Marriott Belgrade City Center. The event served as a premium platform where exclusive hotels from across the region presented their offerings to travel agencies and corporate companies from Serbia.
A Rapid Response to Market Recovery
As soon as the epidemiological conditions for organizing a safe gathering were met, the TU Events team reacted swiftly. The resulting TU Sun & Sea Workshop featured twenty hotels from Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, and Albania. Attending the event were 33 carefully selected travel agencies and companies from all over Serbia, all eager to include Balkan destinations in their upcoming travel portfolios.
Strategic Planning and Safety
To ensure maximum efficiency, exhibitors received a list of registered agencies and companies three weeks prior to the event, allowing them to align their meetings with their annual business plans. The final realization of the workshop followed the official approval and gathering permits issued by the national crisis response team, ensuring a secure environment for all.
Positive Impressions and First-Hand Insights
The feedback from the workshop was overwhelmingly positive on both sides: Regional Destinations had the opportunity to present their products in detail to Serbian tour operators interested in new collaborations. Serbian Agencies utilized the event to refresh their existing knowledge and, in many cases, discover entirely new tourism offerings.
The three-hour workshop allowed for personal introductions and first-hand insights into the facilities and potentials of each destination. To conclude the successful networking session, we hosted a formal lunch for all participants within the hotel.
