Slovenian Tourism Workshop
Organized by the TU Events agency and supported by the Slovenian Tourist Board, the Slovenian Tourism Workshop was held in Belgrade on October 24, 2019. During the event, hotels and destinations from Slovenia presented their offers to travel agencies from Serbia. The workshop took place at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Old Mill Belgrade.
We have been organizing these types of workshops for three consecutive years, and the interest continues to grow with each edition. This year, twenty-six Slovenian hotels and destinations participated in the workshop, while more than 55 carefully selected travel agencies from across Serbia attended the event.
Impressions have been highly positive on both sides for years. Through this format, Slovenian destinations have an excellent opportunity to present their offerings in detail to Serbian tour operators interested in collaboration. Meanwhile, it provides Serbian agencies with a chance to either reconnect with or discover the tourism potential of this neighboring country, featuring destinations stretching from the Adriatic Sea to the Alps.
The workshop lasted for three hours, giving all travel agencies the opportunity to meet personally with destination and hotel representatives. They learned firsthand about Slovenia's tourism facilities and potential. Afterward, networking continued over a dinner organized for all workshop participants at the Radisson Collection Hotel.
