Presentation of Slovenian Tourism in Belgrade

The Slovenian Tourist Board (STO), in cooperation with the editorial team of TU magazin and TU Events, organized another SLOVENIAN TOURISM WORKSHOP, which took place on October 14, 2021, at the Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade.

Growing Interest and Regional Connectivity

TU Events has been organizing these types of workshops in collaboration with the STO for several years, and interest in them continues to grow. After a two-year hiatus due to well-known reasons, this workshop featured 13 hotels and destinations from Slovenia, while 40 carefully selected travel agencies from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia attended the event.

Direct Meetings and Post-Pandemic Potential

For years, impressions of these events have been positive for all parties involved.

  • Slovenian destinations have the opportunity to present their offers in detail to regional tour operators interested in collaboration.

  • Agencies from the region can refresh their knowledge or familiarize themselves with the tourism offerings of this neighboring country—spanning from the Adriatic Sea to the Alps.

The workshop lasted three hours, providing all travel agencies with the chance to meet destination and hotel representatives in person. This allowed them to learn first-hand about the tourism facilities and the potential of Slovenia in the post-pandemic era.

Networking with a View

Following the workshop, a dinner was organized for all participants at Restaurant 22 within the Metropol Palace Hotel, offering a stunning panoramic view of Belgrade.
